Sarbjeet Kaushal is currently working as a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Gulzar Group of Institutions, Khanna, Ludhiana, Punjab, India. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, India. His research interests include sustainable manufacturing, surface engineering, microwave processing of materials, tribology of composite materials, and advanced manufacturing processes. He has published more than 50 papers in referred journals including 26 SCI/ SCIE indexed journals. He has organized several seminars, workshops, and conferences at national and international level. He has also published two books. He is the reviewer of several peer-reviewed journals such as Vacuum (Elsevier), International Journal of Metal Castings (Springer), and Journal of Engineering Manufacture (SAGE). Sandeep Bansal is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Gurgaon, India. He obtained his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from S.L.I.E.T, Longowal, Sangrur, India; B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Institution of Engineers India; Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Bhai Gurdas Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sangrur, India; and Doctoral Degree from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, India. He has more than 18 years of teaching and industrial experience. He has published more than 15 articles in journals and conferences. He worked on a DST (SERB)- funded research project during his Ph.D. His areas of interest are microwave material processing, surface engineering, tribology, and biomedical. Chander Prakash is Pro- Vice Chancellor of Research & Development at Chandigarh University, Punjab, India. He has published over 400 (330 SCI/ Scopus) scientific articles in peer- reviewed, reputable, top- notch journals, conferences, and books. Prakash is a highly cited researcher at the international level, and he has 8874 citations, an H- index of 53, and an i10 index of 182. He is among India's Top 1% of leading Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering scientists, Research.com. He holds 38 ranks in India. He has edited 23 books and 3 authored books for various reputed publishers like Springer, Elsevier, CRC Press, and World Scientific. He is a series editor of the book Sustainable Manufacturing Technologies: Additive, Subtractive, and Hybrid, CRC Press, Taylor & Francis, where more than 25 edited books were published by national and international researchers. He is serving as an editorial board member of peer- reviewed international journals Cogent Engineering and Frontiers in Manufacturing Technology. He is serving as a guest editor for peer- reviewed SCIindexed journals. Bhupinder Singh is currently working as a Research Fellow in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, University of Nottingham, UK. He obtained his Ph.D from IIT Mandi, India; and Master's degree from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, India. His areas of interest include surface engineering, cavitation erosion, and advanced manufacturing. He possesses a track record of designing successful experimental programs, including numerous research papers in reputed journals and a patent. Dheeraj Gupta is currently Professor and Head of the Central Workshop at the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, India. He obtained his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science, Indore, India; and Master's and Doctoral degrees from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. He has more than 10 years of teaching and research experience. He has worked on a European Union funded project in Lisbon, Portugal. He has published more than 70 articles in journals and conferences. He has filed two Indian patents on microwave processing of metals. Currently, he is a principal investigator for an Indian government- funded project. His areas of interest are microwave material processing, surface engineering, tribology, biomedical, and advanced manufacturing. He has supervised many Master's thesis and six Ph.D thesis.
