Bioremediation is the action to reduce the impact that human activities have on the environment to assimilate toxic products and transform them in order to reduce their effects on the environment. The use of ecotechnology employs ecology and technology according to the characteristics of the natural ecosystem, minimizing the environmental impact with simple, ecological, sustainable and easily accessible techniques. Phytostabilization makes use of plants to reduce the amount of pollutants in the environment to improve the properties of the environment. Through phytostabilization, there are possibilities to take advantage of vegetation in the immobilization of heavy metals through natural processes. The growth rate of a shrub was evaluated under greenhouse conditions in different percentages of substrates to obtain as a result the influence of the jales and the feasibility of using the production of plants as a phytostabilizing option.
