Born in Greenwich, London, David C. Ramzan has always had a keen interest in the history of his home town and studied local history at the University of Oxford. A self-employed graphic designer, illustrator and artist, he also works in special needs education and has written several historical publications and articles for magazines and periodicals, subjects including local town and maritime history, football, smuggling and Victorian crime.
