Born and raised in New York City, she learned to play the violin at age eight and spent half her life working in the music business in Los Angeles for a number of major record labels. She has previously published the children's picture book "Mom, Dad, Who are The Beatles? The Beatles Biography for Kids" and "Beautiful Words."
