In the ongoing era, electricity is seeing as one of the rudimentary requirements for all of us now, chiefly in remote areas as well as it also helps to advance the affluence, urbanization and Economic growth. The modernization of Hydro Electric Energy System (HEES) achieving the innovative summit day-by-day, predominantly in the terms of controlling the speed and the power quantities due to advancement of power electronics equipments in the course of the past four decades. The intention of this research work is to present the modeling and simulation of the hydraulic turbine which is driven by the doubly-fed induction generator and the produced ac power given to the grid. For generating the optimal value of power from the running water as well as meticulously anticipate its performance, the detailed understanding of the modelling, control, and steady state analysis as well as dynamic analysis of DFIG based SHPP in both operation modes is very much obligatory. After successfully analyzed of steady state performance of the DFIG based SHPP, the author's motive moved towards the dynamic (transient) performance of the presented simulation model.
