Holly Rudin-Braschi, author of Grill Power and Grill Power: Second Edition is a professional cooking instructor; an American College of Sports Medicine certified health fitness and nutrition lecturer, as well as a veteran group fitness instructor with Zumba and Sharqui Bellydance Workout certifications. In addition, she studied nutrition at California State University at Hayward. As a professional journalist, Holly's articles, which focus on such topics as food, fitness, nutrition, and travel, have appeared in national magazines including Cooking Light and Southern Living , and newspapers nationwide, and has been represented by the New York Times News Syndication Services. A sought after speaker by major corporations and universities throughout the United States, Holly has been a wellness presenter at companies such as Apple Computer, 3M, Chevron and many others. Combining her culinary knowledge with an engaging, high-energy personality, Holly sold over $10 million in culinary appliances on QVC as an on-air guest for Salton. Holly has also appeared on TV as a culinary expert throughout the US, Canada and Europe including appearances with Vefa Alexiadou, the Julia Child of Greece, on her program in Athens, Greece. In addition, Holly is a musician and music instructor with a Bachelor's Degree in musicology and languages from Vassar College, and a Master of Music Degree from the Manhattan School of Music in NYC. She is author of Holly's Ukulele Method(TM), the most comprehensive book for learning to read music on the ukulele, developed while teaching group ukulele at Santa Rosa Junior College in Santa Rosa, CA for 10 years.
