Autorenporträt
Mrs. Gertrude Mapara is a married elderly lady with three young adult children. She is a minister of gospel and behavior change songs and also a paramedical health-care professional who is very particular about practical aspects of grooming and deportment as staying clean, tidy, and orderly is a very important component of attaining a healthy status. This is her fifth book to be published after Zimbabweans and African Voices in the Diaspora (SBC) 1, Zimbabwean Family Therapy Perspectives in Multiple Sclerosis (SBC) 2, Pentecostal Hymnbook (SBC) 3, Drastic Choices during Spiritual Warfare (SBC) 4, and now, finally, Grooming and Deportment (SBC) 5. The author believes that people can make it in life no matter what the challenging backgrounds they can from or might be exposed to in their respective livelihoods. Smartness and immaculateness are not only restricted to elite persons but also to those living below the poverty datum line as well as those who are at grassroots level. Life is how one makes of it even in the simplest day-to-day chores that bring about the beauty of our surroundings and environments.
