This book provides a comprehensive account of how the education system in Bhutan has re-emphasised values education through an innovative approach called Educating for GNH (EGNH) in the schools. The content of the book is an outcome of the author's Ph.D. work. It is based on a conceptual framework showing the interrelationship between three related constructs - perceived efficacy beliefs, transformative learning and dynamics of change. It presents an evidence-based discussion of principals' and teachers' level of self- and collective efficacy, perceptions of importance, support systems, actions and impacts of EGNH.
