The present study was aimed at assessing the ground water quality and their characteristic which are collected from 15 major mandals of Medchal district, Telangana state. The present study was aimed at assessing the ground water quality and their characteristic which are collected from 15 major mandals of Medchal district, Telangana state. We already know that our Telangana state is situated in the area of hard massive rock due to where there surface water resources are limited, with the result the ground water has become a major source of supply to the village population. A comprehensive physio-chemical analysis was conducted after the ground water samples were collected from the different locations. And we are also determining the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis for the above collected sample. In order to determine the quality of water for drinking water purpose, following parameters were considered: potential of hydrogen (pH), total dissolved solids (TDS), Alkalify, Total hardness, chloride, fluoride, nitrite, sulphate, iron, phosphorus, dissolved oxygen (DO), and biological oxygen demand (BOD). The obtain values of each parameter were compared with the standard values set by the World Health Organization (WHO).
