The development, urbanization, industrialization, and human activities lead to depletion in the quality and quantity of groundwater. Modeling groundwater is an effective method for predicting the hydrological characteristics of an aquifer and finding the influence of pollution transport in groundwater. Groundwater Modeling System (GMS), which includes MODFLOW, MODPATH, and MT3DMS were used to model the groundwater flow and predict the future effect of contamination transport in the Erbil city- Kani Qrizhala area.
