Autorenporträt
Prof. Abdelazim Negm is a professor of Water Resources at the Faculty of Engineering, Zagazig University, Egypt, since 2004. He got his PhD in 1992 from Zagazig University (ZU) an his Msc from Ain shams University in the year 1990. He was the vice dean of the Faculty of Engineering of ZU from 12/2008 to 12/2011 and was the head of the Environmental Engineering Dept. at Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST), Egypt 10/2013 to 9/2015. He participated in several international projects since 2006 until now. He published more than 300 papers in national and international journals and conferences. Some of his paper were a warded the prize of the best papers. He is the editor of several volumes at the Springer Handbook of Environmental Chemistry series (HEC series). Two volumes was published in May 2017 and one of them was within the top ten in water science for the year 2017. Also, ten volumes are published in 2018/2019 in the HEC series. He is a reviewer for more than22 scientific journals and associate editor of few journals. He is a member of the scientific committee of several international conferences. Associate editor of EMJEI, Springer, Guest editor for the AJGS special issue of EMCEI 2017.   Prof. Ahmed Elkhouly is aprofessor of Plant Ecology at Desert Research Center (DRC), Cairo, Egypt, since 2007. He got his PhD in 1996 from Menoufia University and his Msc from Cairo University in the year 1989. He was the vice prisedent of Desert Research Center from 4/2011 to 4/2012 and he was expert of Environment and Natural Resources in (Arab Organization of Agricultural Development - Arab Countries League) (2004 - 2011), he is certificated consultant of environmental impact assessment from 2016 till now, he is working now part time as consultant of agrobiodiversity and agro-ecologist in Food and Agricultural Organization of United Nation (FAO) in Egypt, also, he is  working now as lecturer in the Department of EnvironmentalPlanning ,Faculty of Regional and Urban Planning, Cairo University from 2011 till now. He participated in several national and international projects since 1999 until now. He published more than 33 papers in national and international journals and conferences. He published four books from 2007 to 2016 in the fields of saline habitats, medicinal plants, biodiversity and range resources.  Also, he contributed in four Encyclopedia in the fields of forests, medicinal plants, sustainable development of  resources in the Arabian and Egyptian deserts from 2004 till now.  He is a supervisor of eight students in Master and Ph.D. degrees in the field of Environment. He is a member of the scientific committee of several national and international conferences.
