The study on "Group Dynamic Effectiveness for Entrepreneurial Success among Self Help Groups in Gir-Somnath district" was undertaken to find out the Group Dynamics Effectiveness Index and the association of the sub-dimensions influencing the effectiveness of the Group Dynamics of women's SHGs functioning in Gir-Somnath district of Gujarat. The study empathetically disclosed the deep rooted influence of Group Dynamic network among the farmer folk as influenced by their as participation, influence and style of influence, decision making procedures, task functions, maintenance functions, group atmosphere, membership, feelings, norms, empathy, interpersonal trust and achievements of SHG. The findings of the study can be served as a practical manual for organizing and managing Self Help Groups for group action and participation on a sustainable basis. The scale of Group Dynamic Effectiveness Index can be used in similar research in allied sectors. The identified interrelationships between the variables can act as catalytic points for promoting action and group empowerment.
