My dissertation is about Methodology, and the main topic is grouping students at secondary school. I played several team-sports for many years, so I believe in the effectiveness and advantages of group-work. The same happens at schools: the teacher is a kind of trainer of the class, and the teacher makes successful groups. With my sport-experience, I gladly used group-work activities during my compulsory teaching practice and I have seen that these activities were so effective. I often made some groups with different teaching aids, and the children did the tasks and exercises well. I believe in "the learning with playing" principle, and it can be used very easily during group-work. My opinion is that working in groups is a relevant part of the lesson. So, I use it very frequently in my lessons, to check the students' knowledge. As a matter of fact, I like teaching and I have taken to it more during my teaching practice and, to tell the truth I have already practised my teaching skills at home before I started working at school.
