Sharon Caldwell Peddie is the author of Grow Yourself Beautiful: A Smart Girl's Guide to Following Her Heart and Focusing on Her Inner Joy. She wrote the book as a passionate advocate for young women and the challenges they face in today's world. The book was a Pacific Book Review finalist, receiving first runner-up for Best Nonfiction, and has received exceptional professional reviews. Sharon has also written inspirational articles for lifestyle magazines.In addition to dedicating 30 years to raising her three daughters, Sharon has spent 20+ years working closely with girls ages five to 18 in many capacities. Her growing brand and platform as an author are helping to inspire people of all ages to continually grow themselves and their lives in ways that feel meaningfully beautiful to them.Sharon earned a journalism and public relations degree from the University of Florida. In addition to writing, she is a lifelong foodie with a passion for cooking. She believes cooking builds self-love, self-confidence, self-esteem, good health, and strong connections, which is why it was important to her for all three of her daughters to be strong cooks in their development to becoming strong women.Sharon is an avid gardener and an enthusiastic entertainer who loves to create beautiful dinner parties in her backyard garden. She attributes her knowledge and confidence in entertaining to the experience she's gained by just doing it a lot and to being an event planner for nonprofit organizations for over 25 years.
