Autorenporträt
Bailey Nadeen has written poetry and short stories since she was a child, and has always dreamt of being an author. She was born, raised and still resides in Edmonton, Alberta where she continues to write and perform music and spoken word. She currently attends MacEwan University, majoring in a degree of psychology. Bailey uses personal narratives to discuss the ideas of heartache, human nature, and the struggles that come with mental illness. Bailey is a previous winner of the "Words of Hope" University of Alberta Hospital Poetry Contest in 2018. Growing Pains is Bailey`s first published novel. Crisabel Artacho is an Edmonton based artist who currently attends MacEwan University for Fine Arts. She has always been drawn to the creative world of illustrating and uses her artwork as a coping mechanism for mental illness. She does various mediums of artwork and lives happily with her family and Porky the cat. Growing Pains is Crisabel`s first novel that she has illustrated.
