In 2011, for experimental and demonstration area of the Department of Breeding and Propagation of Horticultural Plants Horticultural Faculty of Mendel University in Brno in the school farm in Zabcice evaluated growth and harvest file properties genotypes resistant apple varieties and columnar type of growth. At the same time also focused attention on the resistance against fungal diseases such as apple scab (Venturia inaequalis (Cke.) Wint.) and powdery mildew (Podospharea leucotricha Ell.et Werk, Salm). Experimental plantings observed in this work were established in 2000 and 2009. The apple scab (Venturia inaequalis (Cke.) Wint.) appeared only very weakly in cultivar 'Polka.' Powdery mildew (Podosharea leucotricha Ell. et Werk, Salm) was not found. The growth characteristics were evaluated number of flowers, fruits and buds on top distance shoots. Harvested fruits were twice organoleptic evaluated.
