Melissa Sneed Wilson is the award-winning author of Growing up and Going Back. A communications professional and adjunct professor, Melissa enjoys writing stories that are relatable, inspirational, and hope-filled. She placed in the semifinals for the Kairos Prize for Uplifting Screen Plays in 2009 and 2012 for her scripts, Whose You Are and Castle in the Sand. Melissa received a Bachelor's of Arts in communications and Spanish from Carson-Newman University and a Masters in Professional communication from East Tennessee State University. She currently lives in Blountville, Tennessee with her husband and their two children.
