In this collection of essays, Carla D. Chapple tells the story of her spiritual journey as a student at The Apostle Frederick Price Ministry Training Institute (AFPMTI). When she picked up a pen to write her first classroom assigned essay, she had no idea this journey of acquiring an Associate's Degree in Biblical Studies would be the most unforgettable time of testing in her life. This experience stretched her beyond anything she had ever experienced. Studying the Word of God challenged her, shaped her, broke her, and revealed to her the gifts God had placed within her before she was born. This pursuit confirmed for her that God truly created her for His purpose. A true writer, she shares these chapters as excerpts from essays written for classroom assignments. With a thirst for the Word of God, Carla opens a window into the life of a believer who understands from behind the desk of her first class that faith is the foundation and content of God's message. CARLA D. CHAPPLE entered the world of literature through her first book, Seek His Face: Speaking God's Joy and Peace into Your Life in 2009--conceived to acquaint readers with the very personal side of God's love, joy, and peace. She was formally educated at The Pennsylvania State University. She holds an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast-Cable, a graduate Master's Degree (MBA) in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies from Apostle Frederick Price Ministry Training Institute (AFPMTI), and a CC in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. She enjoys fulfilling her purpose in life through her writings--used to encourage Christians on how to achieve an intimate relationship with God simply by studying the Word of God.
