Autorenporträt
Gia Lorraine Nelson was born in Los Angeles, raised in AZ, USA and currently resides in Upland CA. Her 30 years experience in education, mindfulness coaching and Social Emotional Learning, coupled with her own struggles of depression compelled her to begin this Mindfulness Children's Book Series. As a co-author of the Mindful Parent Series Curriculum coming out of the University of La Verne's Center for Neurodiversity Learning and Wellness, Gia brings her expertise in the area of EFT and holds an EFT-MPC from the American Institute of Healthcare Professionals. In her spare time you can always find her encouraging others to dig deeper and understand WHY they do what they do. Gia hopes to reach young audiences with her passion for mindfulness and the health of our nervous system.
