Gloria Pickersgill was born in Washington DC. She always had an interest in creative writing since her teenage years. As most young adults go and explore on their own she decided to go to Howard University and get a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations (SLMC) The hardest decision of her life became the best decision of her life. Going to Howard University changed her life beyond her wildest dreams. Gloria Pickersgill experienced the best years of her life and placed her experiences into another volume of poetry, Grownup Eruptions and Explorations connected to My Beginning With No End, volume series. While attending Howard she felt a deeper feeling of belonging, love and culture, she never felt before. Gloria is the real deal and she does not sugar coat important and ignored issues.
