After Camari receives a note attached to a kipsee bird from the Gnomes of Nurrocon, she realizes she must enlist Isryk's aid. They are about to voyage across the ocean to help the gnomes retrieve crystals from the Magnite Sea which is guarded be a monster named the Great Vanthor. Lenita Sheridan is the author of the first Guardian of the Gauntlet book and of some poetry. She lives on Whidbey Island in Washington state. There she substitute teaches as well as writes. Her interests include singing, crafts, and walking her dog, a Japanese Spitz named Haley.
