Short Bio Derrick Muhammad Actor/ Comedian/ Writer/ Director/Producer Derrick Muhammad is a native from Youngstown, Ohio Derrick aka "The Alchemist" has the unique ability to take nothing and turn it into something. Derrick wrote, directed and starred in his first short film " Atonement" for a meager budget of $6.99 and sold it out the trunk of his car, making over $2000!!! As a touring stand up comedian Derrick has worked with various comedians including, Tony Roberts, Marcus Combs, Howie Bell, Damon Williams. In 2014 Derrick relocated to Los Angeles starring in several indie movies, short films, television, commercials and theater and begin working with 2x Grammy award nominee and R&B Legend Karyn White they produced together, he directed, co wrote and co starred in the critically acclaimed independent feature film "Gale & The Storm" which is loosely based on the R&B singers life currently streaming on Amazon Prime. Derrick is now Vice President of The all new Jam Network on ZingoTV
