Eric Shamus, PT, PhD, DPT, is a professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at Florida Gulf Coast University. Cindy Miles, PT, PhD, PCS, CNDT, (deceased) was president of APTA and owner of Cindy Miles and Associates Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy in Florida.
