The objective of this book is to establish the legal and criminological guidelines to be taken into account in the modernization of Substantive Criminal Law, which includes the Criminal Code and other criminal provisions contained in special laws, using the analytical and descriptive method. It aims to contribute to the improvement of the substantive criminal legal system. Explains in an exploratory study, legal aspects framed in a State of Law and Justice, also at the criminological level it constitutes an outline of criminological theories, especially Criminology of Human Rights, and reflects a great social contribution, since it is done noting the urgent need for society to have a penal regulation in accordance with the new social changes, global technological advances, also contribute through guidelines in the situation of decoding the special criminal laws that are part, as a whole, of the Venezuelan Substantive Criminal Law. It also has a great practical contribution, by making use of legal and criminological theories for the resolution, through the Penal Code, of innumerable problems of society.
Autorenporträt
Adriana del Pilar Pérez Ferrer is MSc. in Cs. Criminal and Criminological, lawyer, with a Diploma in Teaching for Higher Education (LUZ) and Esp. in Law. Labor and Social Security (URU). She was a substitute Criminal Judge and Assistant Prosecutor of the Public Ministry, professor, research assistant, co-author and labor executive officer.
