In this research work we identified the demographic, clinical, electrophysiological and therapeutic characteristics present in individuals affected with Guillain-Barré Syndrome over 60 years of age admitted to the Instituto Nacional de Neurología y Neurocirugía "Manuel Velasco Suarez" in Mexico City during the last 5 years and who had a poor prognosis, with the aim of implementing actions in clinical practice that favour survival, less disability and complications due to this pathology.

Née à Barranquilla, en Colombie, le 6 novembre 1985, elle a terminé ses études de médecine et de chirurgie à l'Universidad del Norte, puis a obtenu son diplôme de spécialiste en neurologie, poursuivant sa formation dans le domaine des maladies neuromusculaires à l'UNAM, et a récemment obtenu un master en médecine du sommeil.
