The book "Guitar Shapes Navigator" deals with the determination of the positions of characteristic points, lines, distances and shapes of parts of the guitar as a whole. In contrast to technical drawings, "Guitar Shapes Navigator" does not use classic dimensions, but mainly the coordinates of the positions of the end points, center points, etc. Everything takes place in the X and Y coordinates of the normal Cartesian system. Autorenporträt
Jan Jirasko wurde am 3. Juli 1945 in Bistrau (CZ) geboren und wuchs in Nordböhmen als mittleres von drei Geschwistern auf. Bis Mitte der 80-er Jahre arbeitete er als Galvanotechniker und nebenberuflich als Musiker in der damaligen Tschechoslowakei. Zu seinen weiteren Aktivitäten zählte Selbstbau von E-Gitarren und E-Orgeln. Im Alter von 39 Jahren zog er mit seiner Familie nach Deutschland und bekam eine Stelle in der Forschung und Entwicklung einer Autozulieferer-Firma in Stuttgart. Die beruflichen Erfahrungen hat er dann in seinem Ruhestand voll der Konstruktion der E-Gitarre und verwandten Instrumenten gewidmet.
