Ty has strong feelings for Mary, but having cancer causes him to keep his feelings to himself. When talking to a doctor, while being treated after a bad beating, Ty is told he does not have cancer. That opens the door for Mary to sell her ranch, marry Ty and go to California with him, but before all that can happen, Ty is forced into one more gunfight.
