SVC is tested on five different type of medical videos of MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), Angiography, CT scan (Computerized Tomography), Echocardiography and Ultrasound. Coding efficiency of SVC providing temporal, spatial and quality scalability is compared with that of single layer H.264/AVC coding for medical videos.
