The ecology of gazelles in Iran is poorly known and habitat associations of this species have not been studied in Iran hitherto. habitat use by Persian gazelle was studied over autumn-winter period through pellet group count in Bamoo National Park. This is the first study in Iran that presents information about gazelles' habitat use in a desert area through a six-month period.Place and time changes in habitat use or plant use are common for many wild ungulates all over the world.Habitat use is an ecological concept whose theories and models attempt to find the effective factors on the use of special resources by an organism and the reasons for their effective yse.We counted 15 transects in 5 plant communities within the Chahmahaki plains in Bamoo Park and this data contributed to our understanding of the habitat.
