Álvaro Magalhaes is considered to be one of the best writers of his generation. His work, aimed at children and young people, either in the form of a poem, short story, or a novel, accounts to more than 80 titles. He has received numerous awards such as being included in the Honor List of the prestigious Hans Christian Andersen Award in 2002. Cátia Vidinhas graduated with a degree in graphic design from the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado. She also received a degree in image design at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Orporto, where she currently works as a designer and illustrator. She is also the illustrator of Os cavalos de Santiago and Nadav.
