Albert Flynn DeSilver has been an obsessive mountain biker for over 30 years. He is a trail advocate and wilderness explorer. Albert is an internationally published writer, speaker and teacher who has worked with thousands of kids as a California Poet in the Schools, served as a county Poet Laureate, and taught writing workshops throughout North America at places like the Esalen Institute, the Omega Institute, the British Institute in Paris. He is the author of several books of poems, the memoir "Beamish Boy" (2012) and "Writing as a Path to Awakening" (2017) from Sounds True Publishing. He has given a TEDx talk and bombed spectacularly, he has hosted and shared the stage with writer-luminaries like Elizabeth Gilbert, Cheryl Strayed, Maxine Hong Kingston, U.S. Poet Laureate Kay Ryan and many others. Albert writes and rides in the redwoods of Northern California. Mattias Fredriksson (Photographs) is one of the most prolific adventure photographers of our time. For the past quarter-century he has travelled the globe with some of the world's best skiers, mountain bikers and outdoor athletes on assignments for a vast array of editorial and commercial clients. Fredriksson held the honorary title of Senior Photographer at industry-leading Powder and Bike magazines, both based in the U.S. He remains a senior contributor at Åka Skidor and a senior photographer for Backcountry Magazine. Awarded Bike Magazine Photo of the Year in 2010, he has also been a finalist in the Red Bull Illume photo competition, won the Black and White Photo Awards in 2006, and has over 450 cover shots published worldwide.
