This study aims to evaluate the quality of life and levels of depression among patients with advanced stages of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end-stage renal disease (ESRD) undergoing haemodialysis. It seeks to identify risk factors related to CKD, assess the physical and mental status of ESRD patients on haemodialysis, and measure the quality of life using the SF-36 questionnaire. Additionally, it aims to analyze gender and age group differences in quality of life, compare the physical and mental componential systems of patients using the PCS and MCS measures, and assess depression levels based on the HDRS questionnaire. The study also seeks to examine various risk factors associated with chronic kidney disease.
