The reference tables of the blood count used by clinicians in our environment are an emanation of Western studies. These values do not take into account the influence of genetic and environmental factors (social, economic, professional). The objective of the study was the construction of hematological tables adapted to our environment, in order to contribute to the improvement of the care of the Congolese newborn. The book includes 3 studies; all conducted in 25 medical facilities in Lubumbashi during the period from November 2016 to March 2018 on a random sample taken from normal newborns, at term from an eutoecic pregnancy.
