As a traditional medicine it is still used to expel human tapeworm among the majority of Ethiopian societies. The flower and wood extracts of this plant significantly reduced the damage caused by these two important pests of pulse crops.
Autorenporträt
The author was born in 1978 in a small town called Nekemte, in western Oromia, Ethiopia. He graduated from Addis Ababa University in 2001 (BSc in applied biology) and 2009 (MSc in insect sciences). He is currently engaged in apiculture resaerch in Oromia Agricultural Research Inistitute.
