Ingrid Deringer was inspired to write Hailey Loves Dandelions by her own granddaughter, Hailey, who loved to pick dandelions when she was a little girl, and by her mother and grandmother, both of whom frequently cooked with dandelions. Ingrid is an organic farmer, semi-retired Acupuncturist, and author of Shall We Dance? a children's story about the enduring love between a grandmother and her grandson, and If I Could Live Again, a heart-wrenching family saga that spans over one hundred years. Her second novel, For Love and Mercy, is out in 2022.
