As time goes by and the family adjusts to their unique struggles, they are hit with another huge blow. Just prior to reaching adolescence, Jordan is diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. It is essentially a peek into the lives of a family with a special-needs child, chronicling the experiences and adventures, including the ups and downs, highlights and struggles, triumphs and setbacks, as told from the perspective of one of Jordan's biggest fans--his dad.
