Alywn W. Turner is a widely published writer on British popular culture. He is the author of I>The Biba Experience/I>, coauthor of I>Cult Rock Posters 1972-1982/I>, and editor of I>Portmeirion/I>. He has contributed to I>The Rough Guide to Rock/I> and the BBC website. His most recent book is I>Crisis? What Crisis?/I>, an account of high politics and low culture in 1970s Britain.
