Heather Ryan is an American author and illustrator from San Diego, California. Having always been involved in the arts, she earned her bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from the University of California, San Diego. Sixteen years later, Heather continued to search for her passion, chose to go back to school, and attained her MBA from Western Governors University. She is the mother of two and enjoys any activity that keeps her young at heart and (most importantly) out of the kitchen!
