Halo is a passion for Loïc Ralet, who has been collecting for years all sorts of information about the games and its creators: press articles, interviews, videos. To write this book, he spent a year sorting through his notes, dissecting the games' levels and interviewing the fathers of Master Chief: Alexander Seropian (cofounder of Bungie), Marcus Lehto (art director and creator of the Master Chief) and Martin O'Donnell (composer of the soundtracks), among others.
