Dr Ibanzo is a psychologist by training and an alumnus of Walden university, USA and the University of the West Indies, Jamaica. She is a native of Jamaica and credits her successes to her faith in God. She has traveled extensively and has over 15 years of teaching experience having taught in Jamaica, China and Japan. She is an aspiring writer and is working on getting her writings published. He research interests include Caribbean migration, immigration, education, equity in education and social justice. She is an avid reader and writer and enjoys music, reading, writing, watching black and white films, traveling and pilates.
