Dr. Tancredo Souza conducts research on the effects of biologic invasion on the arbuscular mycorrhizal diversity from the Brazilian xeric shrubland. His interests are in the Plant-AMF interactions, ecology of mycorrhizal fungi, microbiology and symbiosis process. He holds degree in Agronomy (BSc), Soil and water management and conversation (M.S.) and Soil sciences (Ph.D.) from the Federal University of Paraíba, Brazil.
