Part I of the handbook presents essays on many traditional topics in Christian theology representative both of the individual authors and various beliefs found in Latina/o communities. Part II focuses on trends and contextual issues within the overall Hispanic/Latino theological conversation.
Autorenporträt
Edwin David Aponte is Research Professor of Latina/o and Latin American Christianity at Center for World Christianity, New York Theological Seminary. He is the author of several Chalice Press titles relating to Latino/a studies. Previously Dr. Aponte served as Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of the Seminary at Lancaster Theological Seminary in Lancaster, PA. Miguel A. De La Torre is an ordained Southern Baptist minister and teaches Christian social ethics at Iliff School of Theology. He is the author of more than fourteen books and has recently published Out of the Shadows into the Light: Christianity and Homosexuality.
