Abdul Wahab was born on November 03, 1948 at Darbhanga. He began his teaching career from the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and thereafter joined the Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. At present he is professor of economics. His research interest includes international economics and development economics.
