Dr Pradeep Venkatesh MD, DNB is a Professor of Ophthalmology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences [AIIMS], New Delhi. He has been practicing medical and surgical management of retinal disorders for the past 25 years and has performed about five thousand surgeries over this period. His areas of expertise include management of retinal detachment and advanced diabetic retinopathy. He has been a co-investigator in several multicentric trials including those involving sustained drug delivery systems like Retisert, Iluvien, Posurdex and Suprachoroidal injections. In the past, he has edited books on Fluorescein angiography, Optical coherence tomography, Retinal imaging, and Eye in systemic disorders.
