Vinodhkumar, der seinen Bachelor of Engineering (Bauingenieurwesen) und Master of Engineering (Geotechnik) an der GCT in Coimbatore mit Auszeichnung abgeschlossen hat, ist derzeit Assistenzprofessor in der Abteilung für Bauingenieurwesen der KEC in Indien. Er hat zahlreiche Artikel in renommierten internationalen Fachzeitschriften veröffentlicht. Außerdem ist er Gutachter für verschiedene Fachzeitschriften.
