Autorenporträt
At only 28 years of age Richard J Bryan took over the leadership role in his family's $120 million business when his father was forced to retire due to ill health. In this book he shares some hard-earned lessons about what to do and what not to do in order to successfully pass your business on to the next generation. As the 4th generation leader in a large and diverse family business Richard is well placed to help business owners and leaders to "work on their business rather than in their business." His expertise lies in assisting business leaders in the creation of high-performance teams as a path to sustainability. Surrounded by the right team, leaders are in an optimal position to create an Organizational Succession Plan that is the right fit at the right time (BEFORE the crisis hits the fan!). Today Richard owns a real estate development business and is also a keynote speaker and author on leadership and succession planning issues. When he is not traveling Richard lives in Colorado and likes to spend his leisure time golfing or skiing with family and friends. He is a professional member of the National Speakers Association.
