"HANDLE IT" is an Autobiography beginning with Joy's early childhood into its present time. She is forced to "handle" whatever situation that comes her way. At 8 years old she's already living in a "survival for the moment" mode. Her past continued to influence her future in a very harmful and regrettable way. Yet through her struggles she still had the innate capacity to rise and find her way. At age 34 after strong encouragement from her then female lover, she was led to God. Years later, while praying during a fasting period, Joy received what she believed as instructions from God to read (The Holy Bible) from the beginning. Through her obedience to God she believed she was then inspired by God to write her life's story. Little did Joy know that she would become "Gods' hands extended" with the hopes of inspiring others who may have gone through similar situations. Writing "HANDLE IT" allowed Joy to deal with all the pain she had kept deep inside for so long of which influenced her behaviors. Thus, understanding this is part of her Sanctification process, trusting when her life is over, God will say, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant: "Mathew 25 v21

Joyce "Joy" Harriet is a mother, a sister, a friend, a Poet, Playwright, a Producer, Director, and now she's a first time Author. And most importantly Joy is a Child of The Living God. Her passions are; writing, producing stage plays, encouraging the youth, and productive conversations. She enjoys inspiring the youth to realize their most inner strengths, and often volunteering to assist the elderly. Joy has been a Playwright since 2002, and in 2013 she received her MPA in Public Administration & Affairs. In 1992, Joy made a decision to live an "Alternative Lifestyle" which ultimately led her to God. Because of Jesus' sacrifice and His love, she chose to live in the Will of God. Joy enjoys conversations about God and being Gods' hands to serve in any capacity without limitations. Today she loves the Lord with her whole heart and continues to grow in His grace. Joy admits as much as she enjoy the "Alternative Lifestyle" she trust God will totally deliver her from it. Joy realizes that deliverance is a process and she is standing on the Word of God. Approaching life with a No-Nonsense, "leave the drama for the stage" type attitude, she remains a loving and compassionate woman who never minds giving of herself. Joy is a humble woman whose loyalty is to God first, to family, and friends...And with all sincerity, Joy loves you!!!!
