In our high-technological post-industrial society people are increasingly moving back towards true craftsmanship. Passionate craftsmen, who work according to ancient traditions, are consequently also highly valued except they are not always easy to find. About twenty carefully selected craftspeople are presented in this richly illustrated book. They all argue for a recovery of our traditional cultural heritage of crafts and give a new élan to the skilled knowledge of their ancestors.
