Entire practical in the book are done and verified using various QGIS versions, from 3.4.9 to 3.32.2, and the figures provided in the book were taken as screenshots while working on QGIS software. This book aims to introduce the learners to QGIS software and show them how to prepare maps and run spatial queries and analyses. Special care has been taken while writing the steps and taking screenshots. The book is divided into fourteen chapters.

Kuldeep Bora studied geo-informatics during his undergraduate course at Gauhati University, Assam, India, and continued to specialize in it during his postgraduate course at Cotton University, Assam (India). He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree at Assam University, India.He has been continuously working in the field of geo-informatics since 2018
