Autorenporträt
Elke Krasny: a curator, project-based artist, and writer. She is a Senior Lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Her essays, books, walks, and exhibitions focus on architecture as a cultural practice, urban transformation, socially engaged urban curating, reinterpreting travel as knowledge production, feminisms and spatial practices within a critical history of ideas. She was artist in residence at the Hongkong Community Museum Project in 2011 and a visiting scholar at the Canadian Centre for Architecture Montréal in 2012. Recent works include: Mapping the Everyday. Neighborhood Claims for the Future, Audain Gallery Vancouver in 2012, City Telling, Hongkong in 2011, and The Force is in the Mind, Architekturzentrum Wien, Vienna 2008. www.elkekrasny.at
